DMX began rapping in the late 1990s. He released his debut The album It's Hot and Hell is Dark on May 19, 1998. In the following years, he came out with several more albums like ... And then There was X And Then There Was X, Great Depression Year of the Dog... And Again the Redemption of the Beast Grand Champ and Flesh of My Flesh Blood of My Blood. The album... And There was X received the Grammy Award in the year 2001, for the category of Best Rap Album. The singer has appeared in films such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five as well as Exit Wounds The Bleeding Romeo Must die Backstage over the Law Lockjaw and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
