Through the years she mostly played guest roles on a variety of TV shows. They praised her for her role of the character Dr. Erin Jameson in the drama series Hawthorne. Because of her incredible looks and acting skills, she slowly gained large fan following. Her film debut came in twenty-something, in an important role in the movie Campfire Stones. The actress has also been featured in Jekyll This Means War, Chasing Mavericks and other films. Her role of the lead character Beautiful Now earned her a nomination at the Madrid International Film Festival Award. On the television show Timeless, she played the character of Lucy Preston, a history professor.
